Been on Corelle dining sets and Cambridge flatware (The thicker metal variants) for going on two decades now strong. I bought a couple spares of each a few years back on SlickDeals just to make sure these things remain OCD-viable for the foreseeable future haha. I swear my biggest kitchen pet peeve is a fork that bends when you use it to eat an omelet lol.

Btw. They are matching donations. So for my 75 items ( I don't know why 5x12 +12 + 5 = 75) set 61.xx, I added 15$ on donation to get free shipping. Hopefully, if it ships, the hospital gets 30$.

I have spoons with similar design the ends feel too sharp when holding the spoon. I hate those spoons with that design now. I find the following design more ergonomic but it looks pretty dated design

Really wanted to get that 75 piece set with the steak knives, but I just couldn't find good filler items to get the free shipping. Held off and just told myself that it's probably better to see the flatware in person, because I prefer the traditional shaped forks and spoons over the modern styles they're coming out with lately. I prefer the parts of the spoon/fork nearest to the handle to be wider than the front, but it seems like newer spoons are a symmetrical oval and forks and narrower near the handle. I just think the old style not only holds food better, but it is easier to eat with. I think it is kind of what Wand was saying a couple posts up.

This is the real question. After on a few runs through the dishwasher, the knives will start to show rust if they aren't 18/10.

these don't say forged. I got a cheap forged set at Costco, and they're tough. None of this garbage stamped stuff that bends.
