Disregarding CB offers and other discounts, I would take this over the Alienware for sure. Standard non-proprietary parts and no concern for Intel CPU issues in the back of your mind.

So this is a better deal than the Alienware (https://slickdeals.net/f/17811705-alienware-aurora-r16-desktop-i7-14700f-rtx-4070-ti-super-16gb-ram-1tb-ssd-1400-or-less-free-shipping)?

I wonder if these 4070 TI Super PC deals will go lower for the holidays?

I would wait for BF at this point and the price may get slightly lower with better CB percentage.

Wise call. I would think BF would bring the same price but likely with 10-15% CB at certain sites since they always do BF deals.

??? on November, 29, 2024: will get cheaper once 5000 series are released. Should wait.

??? on Jan-Feb, 2025: Should just wait and buy 5000 series when they go discount. 4000 series are old

I don't plan on saying that. Big difference between waiting a month and waiting for the new release to go on discount. But you do you.
