Even if this car was for $0 down, $0/per month, it will be a bad deal. Read about how car crashed (because of issue with the car , not driver) and ended the life of whole family.

Amazing car. Love it. Got one for a steal. Runs great. No issues. No complaints. Great car. This is a huge company in Southeast Asia. They aren't going anywhere. And they are America friendly and building a factory in North Carolina.
woah. how much does slickdeals accounts go for on the market?

Actually the factory in NC has been stopped indefinitely.. I really don't see it happening at this point. That said I see quite a few of these vehicles around as we have a Vinfast dealership in town.

heard their vf9 just killed an 18 month infant. from their imported china tech auto drive "feature" last week
Pretty low chance the company is still in business in 3 years. With zero down, this dodgy vehicle seems like a decent deal for 200/month bc you won't pay for gas and get to drive a new car. I know the car is sort of the modern day yugo, but still
To be fair Vinfast isn't the only sub-company in the Vingroup, they're like Samsung / Mitsubishi / Toyota / Tata etc... Where they're in everything like Smartphones, Pharmaceutical , Realestate, Supermarkets, Logistics, Trade, etc.... Its a massive conglomerate type company.
Vinfast is only one of their many assets, but they did sink a lot of money into it.

Yeah I wouldn't worry them going bankrupt. As a Vietnamese, we have a saying that the government will bail them out using our money.

I do want to see the company succeed but they need to put more effort into making a better car before trying to enter other markets imo. I feel like we see all these Chinese EVs being talked about all the time but I'm also concerned about the build quality on those as well because a lot of the Vinfast products and parts are chinse OEM components and if Vinfast safety & construction is already this poor then I'd imagine Chinese OEMs aren't really that much different.
