This might be a different process than what's originally described here but I was able to pay in Discover "Reward Points" (essentially cashback I've earned) and get 40% discount up to $50, which I used up today on two separate items/purchases.

No I don't have Prime, and I just did the Q3 one at the end of Aug, then removed Discover shortly afterwards. Weird it works for me now but not others. When I added it yesterday, I set it as my default payment. It lets me use my GC balance for the entire purchase and I don't even need to use a point to pay.

I guess I better order soon before they disable it for me.
