I love loose Cafe Bustelo, but don't see much of a point of it in a K-cup.

In loose form, it's inexpensive, good and very flexible coffee that can be used for espresso, cold brew, or regular drip. The fine grind makes it even more flexible, as it has good yield.

In a K-cup, it's no longer inexpensive (30c/cup even on this sale), and it loses most of the flexibility and yield benefits it had while loose. In a k-cup, it's just coffee, no better than many other generic or less expensive brands.
You & I tend to buy only when they go on sale on Amazon and the manufacturer doesn't put it on sale unles they are close to expiration. Not Amazon's fault. On another note, I bought the Amazon's brand Happy Belly Dark Roast for around $20.21 for 100 cups. They are decent in flavor with 100% Arabica coffee beans.

I've noticed the last couple of deliveries that some of the K cups weren't "air tight". Not sure if they are getting damaged in transit or what, but some of them just straight up taste bad/stale.

Amazon of course didn't care. Going to go back to just using the ground version for now.

I don't like buying K-cups from Amazon because they often have short expiration dates, usually only about two months.

I remember before the pandemic Cafe Bustelo was so cheap.
I could get 4 "bricks" of it at Costco for like $10
But inflation…
