Microsoft provides various built-in tools to help users manage their systems. One such application is Microsoft PC Manager, a software suite with various system optimization and security features. However, many users prefer third-party applications for their added functionality and ease of use. There are several alternatives to PC Manager that offer similar or better capabilities and are often more customizable.

Having both PC Manager and Glary the primary difference seems to be that PC manager is about 95% just shortcuts to existing services in the OS that don't work properly.
An example would be uninstall which leaves tons of loose folders, data, and registry entries for programs. It also appears to only be integrated to Edge browser whereas Glary or CC or other options work for all programs whether Microsoft or not and actually do what the buttons say they do most of the time.

Oh wow this brings back memories. Haven't used it in years, didn't really know they were still around.

these utilities used to be pretty effective in earlier versions of Windows, but I feel more modern OSs have more of this baked in and automated.

ymmv, but free is free
