I'm planning to buy this?can anyone give me any suggestions, any pros and cons? Thankyou in advance
It's an awful deal being thumbed up for idk what reasons.
We've had better deals for similar price or less; with better displays and better processors.
This is bottom of the barrel of HP's Laptop lineup.

Sure, why not. I'll link two deals that I found easily but I'm sure some more can be found if you search SD more:
1. Acer Aspire Vero: 15.6" FHD IPS, i7-1355U, 16GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD - $499.99
This deal is massively better than this one in every way possible. The only caveat is unupgradable RAM but 16GB would easily suffice for a general user for many years.
2. Costco Members: Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3: 15.6" Laptop: Ryzen 5 7530U, 16GB DDR4, 512GB - $449.99
This has a touch display, upgradeable RAM but a weaker but more battery efficient processor.
There have been deals on such deal with touch displays as well and in a few days we would have more and better than this if you can wait.

Average screen, processor isn't bad but there are cheaper, newer models with same benchmark scores, Pavilion line has poor build quality and materials.
Just to give you some perspective. There was (or is) a 15.6" touchscreen Lenovo with a slightly better AMD processor that was $50 less at Costco.

I mean it's not a horrible deal if you needed a touchscreen laptop and don't want to wait another month for holiday deals. I'd say it's about an average deal. A little over-dramatic with saying it's awful, but kind of on par for certain users reactions to posts that aren't their own.
Considering the two better deals that were pointed out - first one isn't a touchscreen. So if that matters to you, then it's automatically ruled out. If you don't need a touchscreen, then yes it's definitely a better laptop for the same price. Second one requires a paid membership. So it's not exactly "easy" to find a tit-for-tat comparable deal with better specs at the same price openly available at this exact moment in time.
Having said that - there will be much better deals within the next 4 weeks, maybe even 2 weeks at the start of November. If this were priced at $399.99, it would be a "good" deal IMO. As it stands now, it's an average deal.
I recommend Googling the CPU model you find for any laptop deals. Unfortunately, OP didn't list the exact CPU model for this on the actual post, but if you click the link you should be able to see it under product details.
For example with this model it's core i7-1255U, so I would google "core i7-1255U cpu benchmarks". Go to the link for cpubenchmark.net and it will give you a multithread and single core rating. You can use this to compare all the different CPUs for all the deals and make a smarter decision. Here's an example for this specific laptop's CPU:
As you can see, even though this post has a i7, it ranks lower than the Core 3 100U (Core 3 is a fancy new name for core i3 Intel uses for certain mobile CPUs....). Newer models will often surpass older higher end models, so don't just rely on "i7" or "i3" because this is often used to trick the consumer. Look at the generation and CPU benchmark ranks.

Sure thing, I'll do that. Thankyou 😃

Just to give you some perspective. There was (or is) a 15.6" touchscreen Lenovo with a slightly better AMD processor that was $50 less at Costco.
This HP has a newer processor that is more powerful than this deal laptop:
https://www.costco.com/hp-14%22-l...53148.html
And it's $50 less too... This has a high chance of going on sale during Black Friday since older models of the HP 14 have done so at Costco.
I think this is a bad deal.
