Cheap crap. Small. Not actually stainless. There's at least seven other random-name-generated chinese sellers on Amazon with the exact same scale. Lots of random complaints about the LCD and the design.

It might be okay for $4, but don't expect much.

This appears to be the same scale as the Etekcity branded scale: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0113UZJE2

The only issue I had is that the LCD is flush with the scale, so larger bowls or plates will cover the readout. The weight limit is also only 11 pounds.

I actually recommend this scale: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZ6L2BBD

I have that exact scale as an older Monoprice branded scale (42342, discontinued). I prefer this design since the scale is elevated, making it harder to cover the readout. It also has a higher weight limit, so it's better for double duty as a postal scale.

These are all the same scales, so just pick the cheapest reseller.

You're being weird about reviews. They're all the same cheap scales. The only difference on Amazon is the word salad brand name that's slapped on them by the reseller. You can buy either scale from Aliexpress without branding for $3 or less.

I noticed that you didn't provide a single link to all these other supposed equivalent deals. This scale is only $4 and it has over 14k reviews (which is a lot) with a 4.6 star avg rating. 90% of the reviews were either 4 or 5 stars… that's pretty damn good for a $4 scale. Finally, it's a smaller scale, yes, but it has an 11 lb capacity… which makes it really versatile for weighing food, esp when using the tare function for food that's in heavier containers, such as mixing bowls.

Good deal OP, gets my 👍🏻

The first scale you linked that is similar to OP's deal is selling for $11 - after coupon. The second scale you linked, that you recommend, has only 83 reviews and most of them look like Amazon Vine reviews. No thanks…

I have had the ektecity version of this for several years now and it works well, still on the original batteries too I believe. My only complaint is that the scale will time out and shut off automatically and lose weight reading if you dont keep an eye on it and tap it to stay awake.

In for one. Ive been using the same ektecity scale since 2016 and been using it daily for weighing my espresso beans for the past 3 years and its been fine. Nothing fancy but does the job. Getting one as a backup

What's a good brand product to weigh stuff under 32oz? Never got one of them, don't want some alphabet brand that will breakdown in a yr. Think somethin like rollo or zebra 'cept for a scale.

I have been using the same brand for past 7 years. First one lasted till Apr 2024 and then started having issues. Purchased the same brand again as I didn't have to worry about knock-offs. May get this to keep as backup.

I am looking for a more accurate scale. One sensitive enough to pick up 1 tsp of salt.
