Basically, will these turn into lollipops in a few years? I have a boatload of deer in the area so trying to avoid that.
If these aren't a good choice, does anyone have any recommendations for privacy plants that won't get eaten by deer?

Problem I see here with this deal is that the planting time is spring and it isn't spring.

I've planted approxiamtley 60 of these over the last three years and the deer population in my area is very high. Even in the dead of winter when food is scarce, deer haven't bothered them. Although when they are young and smaller some were damaged from bucks rubbing against them.
These are more deer resistant then the emerald green arborvitae's. Those are basically deer food and every single one of them in my neighborhood looks like lollipops.
I bought 7 of these from Costco store a couple years ago and planted them in high deer populated rural area and the deer have never touched them.

It's clearance season, so check your local big box stores. You can often find 5-6' trees for $30-40 each, which will give you a huge head start.
