I went through a bunch of m100's when I was in college, they lasted like 1 or 2 years each and I would just buy a new one when it broke.

Went through maybe 2-3 B100's but also lasted around the same time. Moved onto cheapie lenovo mice. Unsure about longevity yet.

I was in the same boat! The school sort of changed policies this year and all mice had to be USB mice. (The school got tired of handing out AA batteries because the students couldnt remember to get new ones at home). We couldnt find a cheap USB non-gaming mouse anywhere. (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc).Even the cheap name brand ones on Amazon were out of stock and 3rd parties were selling them for 3X the price. Luckily Lenovo put these on sale for $3 each and I ordered 10 of them so my son could hand out to anyone that had the same problem as me.
