Nice guitar. Same price on their reverb shop. Agile also makes vicious 8-10 string guitars.

This is a lot of guitar for the price. I've owned multiple Agile guitars and they've been great. I sold them for 'name on the head-stock' reasons, and they're the only ones that I regret selling.

That first picture really makes the headstock look out of proportion with the body, but then the rear shot it looks more in proportion. I think they just took a really bad cover photo that makes the body look huge and the headstock tiny.

I miss my quilted ocean top Agile. Sold it to fund another guitar and there was just something about it... Btw these play AND look great in person. With the price of Epiphones now especially, plus Agile has a good secondary market, they're a good deal.

I own this exact guitar (with Bare Knuckle pickups) and I really like it. Plays really well, looks awesome and I am big fan of the fanned frets. Took me about 30 seconds to "adjust" playing but I can bounce between this and my Les Paul without any issue. If I had to do it again, I would buy it for sure.

Might be worth mentioning a few things:

1) This is a 7-string, not a standard 6-string
2) fanned frets/multi-scale seem to largely be a fad, and there are other compromises besides having to adapt your technique and muscle memory...for example, the pickups being angled (presumably to keep the point they sense the strings' vibration consistent with respect to the overall scale/string length) means the strings are vibrating off-axis with respect to the coil's orientation. I realize other [even popular] single-scale guitars (strats and copies) have done this, for what reason I'm not entirely sure. I'm personally not a fan of said guitars, primarily due to the softer fretboard woods, neck profiles, and IMO cheesy construction (e.g. small woodscrews holding things together like cable jacks, instead of thru-holes and nuts).

I've personally never heard of nor tried this brand, so I can't speak to its overall quality (materials, construction, workmanship, durability, etc.). My personal go-to brand that hasn't failed me yet is Schecter (for electrics), and Taylor (acoustics).
fanned frets really improve intonation, particularly if you downtune on the bass side. and they are addressing the pickup issue with putting in an 8 string pickup.

It seems basic techniques, like palm muting, and even strumming, would be negatively impacted, as you'd have to strum slanted and mute with your hand slanted, or you're going to get more plucky sounds out of the higher notes.

I'm already able to fine-tune intonation on all of my electrics; the tone pros bridge on my Schecter, and the Floyd Rose on my Aria both support fine-tuning scale length to compensate for string-specific effects (at least to some extent).
certainly true, it takes some adjustment, I have a fanned 8string with an 28" scale on the bass side that takes a lot of stretching and a 26.5" 6 string that feels a lot more like a regular

You are a very kind human, sir.

Unrelatedly, I wonder how many guitars would they need to sell for how many more years for Agile (and friends) to prove their consistency, quality, and staying power. They have been solid for so long, even the early SX stuff. I feel like they should get more recognition.
