Model: ...LW/A, meaning o2 sensor disabled. One of the only reason (imo) to still get s9 instead of s10 beside price.

Are you implying there's a way to enable the O2 sensor on the S9?

I believe for US versions serial number ending in LL/A still has O2 sensor enabled.

S10 will be at $50 discount around thanksgiving or multiple times in a year. Not sure if its a good idea to buy previous version for $50 difference.

I'm happy with my Series 8 stainless steel for $300 @ WM from a month ago. Nothing enticing in the S9 or S10 to make me want to upgrade, especially with aluminium frames and worse glass.

Kind of a meh price. I bought the cellular version WITH the O2 sensor last week at Target for this same price. I think the GPS only version was $279 or something.

I'd wait until November. Bound to be better prices to empty out the remaining inventory. Worst case, only the AW10 goes on sale for BF month and you have to pay a few $ than this for the current model.

No, OP is just giving a heads up. AW model# come in LL/A and LW/A versions. LL/A is pre-injunction and LW/A is post. There is no way for the user to enable the O2 sensor on an LW/A model but the O2 can be reactivated by Apple in 2028 (or sooner if the lawsuit is settled before then).

You make it sound like SS is superior when it's not, it's just a preference. For using as a running watch SS is too heavy which is why the AL model is the only one I'll ever own — regardless of price. Different strokes for different folks, that's all.

This was literally $258 at Target on 10/6. It was $310 on 7/17 for Prime Day. So I don't think this is slick. I am thinking we will see $249 for S9's on BF this year.
