You need active service in order to activate an online order -- you're probably talking about the first paid month which is fine on 7th day

Thanks, able to activate the second and placed a third line. It got to all the to the end and got a popup to call customer service or go to the store. I called and the Cs said the order goes through on their end and gave me the order number.

Correction: it won't you add lines if your account is suspended. From what others have reported, if you have requested a grace extension you will be able to add a line. But this is risky IMHO because you will only be able to activate the phone once it ships, and if you ordered late in the week it could very well go beyond the 72hr extension.

I asked about this earlier. The billing date is the same for all lines in an account. So while you have paid for a whole month when ordering the second line, that doesn't mean that you get a 30 day extension on your account. From what I was told, what happens is that you will need to pay for the second month in order to continue service. So what about the month you have already paid for the second line? It gets applied as a credit towards your second month's bill (prorated depending on how many days were left in the first month when it was activated). Also, if you cancel your first line you will lose the discount on the second line and get charged $75 ($70 with autopay). In order to maximize this deal you need to add as many lines as you can within the first month.

Your account's billing cycle remains the same so all your lines will be suspended in 2 days (you can't pick and choose which lines you want to pay) -- the 2nd line you just activated will get a prorated credit to reduce your 2nd month's amount due but you still need to pay for all the lines if you want service for 2nd month

You can order/activate/port out lines during the free 72hr extension during your 2nd month but you need to get it done within the 72hr window -- after that all your lines are suspended again until you pay the amount due (your account will be deleted after that 2nd month if you didn't pay)

I tried to order a 3rd phone yesterday and got the dreaded "contact us" page. In the past, the number I tried to port would free up in a few hours and the "ADD A LINE" option would show up again in my account. It's been about 24 hours and the ADD A LINE option has not returned. This behavior is new to me.

IF you did not receive the order confirmation mail then that order did not go through.

Same here. It says that I'm not eligible to add a line, and if I try using the same number with my other Metro account it says that the number cannot be transferred. It's been like this for 48hrs now.

I got the same message and called them. the cs said it went through on their end and provide me with the order number. Hopefully I get the email in 24 hour about my new order b

So I'm trying to transfer a number from Spectrum. It seems to get stuck thinking it's Verizon and trying to contact them. Anyone have any ideas or luck? ALSO is it asking for the transfer pin or account pin? Thanks in advance.
