See if any family or friends will let you borrow their IMEI -- otherwise not sure if a random IMEI will work if you Google for one

If you don't have another phone IMEI to switch to then wait for your account to be deleted after 2nd month which will free it up

Your 1st mo is paid for and then you skip 2nd mo payment -- the account gets deleted basically when the 3rd mo should've started
If you give the phone to someone else to use after the 3rd month, would the phone still be unlocked automatically 1 year from the date you first activated?

Ordered the first phone and had it delivered today, activated it and placed an order for the 2nd.

Will activate the 2nd as soon as it gets shipped, then order the 3rd hopefully.

I've only changed payment method, rest all details have remained the same.

Whats the limitation on devices, max 3/5 phones + tablet separately? Or its all inclusive?

Apologies if this is a stupid question - but Re: Visible - I only have access to a Fold6 on Google Fi (eSIM). When I go to activate Visible it wants to use my primary IMEI which is currently associated with Fi (even if I specific the secondary IMEI with Visible at the start of the process).

Does anyone have experience with this? Perhaps it will simply default to my secondary IMEI if I proceed but the last thing I can't lose access to my Fi access/primary cell number, even for a short period of time.

I don't have a Fold6 so don't know if it has two eSIM "slots" or if it is one pSIM and one eSIM, but Samsung devices allow you to manage eSIMs on device.

If needed, you should be able to set your Fi eSIM to "inactive" on the device (think of it as pulling out a physical SIM and setting it on your desk) while you do your thing with Visible. Then, when done with Visible, set that eSIM to "inactive" and move the Fi eSIM back to "active".

If you do have two eSIM "slots" in SIM manager, then you can set Fi to one and Visible to the other.

As long as you don't delete your Fi SIM, you should be good.

Thank you sir. I will give it a shot. I am interested in this as a WiFi device so I can learn iOS but not at the expense of breaking my daily driver Smilie

This happened with one of my accounts when I ported one of the lines away from Metro and then tried to order the 3rd phone. It did not go away after 48hrs.

I just successfully ordered a 5th phone (3 ip12 and 2 ip13), all on 1 account. Here is what I did:
  • 3 lines shipped to my address. I think that's the max they ship to 1 address. No security questions asked
  • 2 lines shipped to my friends address. Since the shipping address different from the billing address, hence 3 security questions asked for each order.
I used visible for all numbers. A quick search on google will give you the referral code, no need to ask here.
when ordering the 4th phone with my address, it didn't go through, and "add a line" option disappear on my account. Had to call and was transferred to the porting department to cancel the porting process. Immediately add a line and this time ship to another address. The order went through.

    good luck y'all!
How did you get 5 lines with visible for $5? Do you get a new referral each time?

Just want to update this in case anyone else has the same hesitation - process was extremely seamless. It DID show my primary IMEI on activation but then it simply set up the Visible eSIM as my second eSIM (no conflict with my primary eSIM).

I then requested my port PIN and ordered from Metro, went through fairly quickly, no issues.

So now one final dumb question so my old man brain is prepared - after I activate the phone, do I simply disable autopay or do I actually have to cancel service?

Auto pay shouldn't be enabled by default in metro but in visible which once you port out has no effect.

for those of you using visible to churn port in numbers, are you using the same name/address/IMEI/referral code to setup each new account?

I already have a visible account and was able to sucessfuly refer myself to get another line which I then ported out to metro. I am trying to get another line using the same thing and that line didnt activate is now under review.

Not sure what I screwed up but going to wait until tomorrow to try again.
