I have read a couple of times that if select IOS, when picking the type of device, it generates the account and phone number automatically for you? Is this true?

Can you get port out info automatically without ever having to load the esim to your phone then?

I wondered that myself but based on their stated unlock policy it shouldn't. The important things are activate the phone. Not have it reported as stolen and waiting 365 days.

Unlock policy
Three hundred sixty-five (365) days must have passed since the device's activation date.

Visible eSIM with referral code for $5 is one of the quickest and safest route. No need to talk to anyone if all goes smooth. Recommend 24 hours on Visible before porting out.

So you are saying the activation is tied to actually turning on the phone and using it vs the activation message we receive from Metro? I am hoping to not having to turn the phone on so as to preserve the 1 year warranty date.. Will this cause conflict with the unlock in 1 year?
