I have an 2S since the beginning of 2018. I used it every day minimum 9 hours but sometime 13 non-stop. This is the best mouse I ever had. The mouse itself look very used from the outside, but works. I work in IT and this mouse is like my phone I go everywhere with it. I highly recommend it. I you already have it, the 3s can make only a difference it does your job on the computer on its own. But here are the differences:
Scroll wheel:

* DPI (Dots Per Inch) sensitivity:
* MX Master 2S: Up to 4000 DPI
* MX Master 3S: Up to 8000 DPI, offering higher sensitivity
* Click noise:
* MX Master 2S: Standard click noise
* MX Master 3S: Features Quiet Clicks, which reduces click noise by up to 90%
* USB connectivity:
* MX Master 2S: Uses Micro-USB for charging
* MX Master 3S: Uses USB-C for charging
* Design:
* MX Master 3S: Has a slightly refined design with improved button placement and grip
* Software:

Considering how long you can use it, and even after 6 years using it every day the battery still works for a week at least...the best investment. I have a wired Razer Deathadder since 2007. Only the deathadder beats the 2s. But then again, no flywheel and not wireless...etc.

I agree with how awesome this mouse is but just go with the 3s. You don't want to mess with micro USB in 2024 and the soft click on the 3s is just amazing.

I've had this mouse for multiple desktop/laptops for several years I think. One time my toddler dropped it out a 3rd story window and I found it in the yard. It's got some dents but it's still working perfectly. I barely charge this thing and it still feels very comfortable. I definitely recommend it at this price.

I know this is super personal, but the 3s just doesn't sit right in my hand. The 2s fits absolutely perfectly for me.

I prefer the 3s over the 2s for the fact that mouse clicks are barely heard on the 3s, usb c vs micro usb.
I just bought a 3s for $70 and I am so glad I did.

This is the right call. I love the mouse but just despise the micro usb and location of it. It's a weird angle and clunky to plugin. Of course it's not the end of the world but I'd happily pay extra to never have to deal with that awful plug again.

i bought 2S for 40ish few years back from Lenovo store. its great. I am using every day for last few years with this. yes, charging thru micro-usb is little inconvenient, but not a painful or not an issue to me. i charge it monthly once at night and thats it. i never run out of power.

if you are looking for great product at little lower price, this is best option.
