I loved Ruby! Used to get their slider/salad bar combo. It was something like $12 with a drink. I went back to Ruby and just got Salad bar with drink it was $20. I would be in for the OP deal - but man they have all closed down around me.

Yes, but $5?? The regular price of the garden bar is $13 (in my area) and I'd probably get water to drink. I'd go with $3, assuming good service clearing plates, etc.

Not sure what would be appropriate to tip, or what the current tipping culture is. Honest question actually. I just figured if I was going to be coming regularly I would not want to be known by everyone who was the jerk that didn't tip. I would honestly order water as I don't drink that much soda. So a $0 bill each time I go.

For me, at least, someone's gotta clear all the plates I'm using on multiple trips to the salad bar. So, personally, I'd tip based on the undiscounted price.

if I am eating salad bar, I don't think I need a drink or water. I just grab my plate, eat my salad, and leave 2-3 tip max.
