Tire warranties are nearly impossible to claim in my experience. They require receipt-proven routine balancing and rotations throughout the life of the tire, far more than most people have any time for.

Tires will vary greatly based on region. For example if you live on the WC, you probably dont care about an A/S tire. You want tires that will last longer since most people do a lot of highway driving. If you are in the midwest or east, you want a better A/S tire due to tougher winter weather. Tirerack.com has a lot of good reviews on tires by size. Check them out. Also make sure to get your car alignment done or it wont matter how good the tires are you will have the same issues again. Good luck.

don't know too much about tires. maybe i can get some suggestions. i got the michelin defender for the minivan about 3-4yrs. ago but i was being cheap and didn't do a full alignment so tire has worn out faster than normal. any suggestion on these other brands for a minivan. michelin is too darn expensive and it's not on sale either.
Drive at highway speed on an even road (center lane) and let go of the steering wheel. If the car stays in the lane after 2-3 seconds, then alignment is probably OK. Worn tire at both sides or center is an indication of improper tire pressure. Uneven tire wear is usually caused by suspension problem. Most modern car will only allow toe-in adjustment.

The Pirelli P4 A/S Plus Persist at Sams provides the best balance between handling, wear, and noise. Look for H or V rated speed label.

Pirelli P4 Persist AS Plus for my 21 Sonata Hybrid. So far no issues. Real test is when the snow comes.

Get certificates from discount tire. You can buy them for tires you didn't buy from them. Has saved me a couple times.

No. That was extra if wanted.
