Tire warranties are nearly impossible to claim in my experience. They require receipt-proven routine balancing and rotations throughout the life of the tire, far more than most people have any time for.
Make sure to bring the quote to discount tire to match it and your installation exprience will be much better
Tires will vary greatly based on region. For example if you live on the WC, you probably dont care about an A/S tire. You want tires that will last longer since most people do a lot of highway driving. If you are in the midwest or east, you want a better A/S tire due to tougher winter weather. Tirerack.com has a lot of good reviews on tires by size. Check them out. Also make sure to get your car alignment done or it wont matter how good the tires are you will have the same issues again. Good luck.

Prices on the tires are great, but their service is not good (at least at our club). Don't count on them for any tire repairs or rotations. Take it to another tire shop. For a simple patch in the tread, they refused to do it and told us to take it to Les Schwab. 🙄

Just got $100 off on Goodyear assurance tires with tax $477, $10 premium install pack for each tire for plus members. Free road hazard, road side assistance, lifetime balance and rotation. In and out in 45 min
I shopped around quite a bit before purchasing at Sams, Goodyear store price for the same tire was much higher and they didn't even try to match.....actually all the stores I went to pretty much no body tried to sell me tires after hearing Sams price....it was like take it or leave it. my god daughter had no problem getting tires replaced multiple times under road hazard, it was 5/6 years ago.

Is the warranty at Sam's Club the same as the warranty at Costco? I believe Costco offers 5 years.
Costco is not 5 years it depends on brand and wear, however, you get lifetime rotation free as long as the vehicle is with the owner and the same tires. I believe same applies in Sams too, just that I never bought tires in Sams but used their tyre rotation service on new car. Sams tyre rotation is much cheaper compared to every strore in our area especially for vehicle with tires bought elsewhere or on new cars. Also the appointments are lot better than Costco, nearly impossible to get one on walk-in.

Will never use them again. They scratched my brand new rims. Then instead of telling me "hey, we f'd up, here's what we're gonna do"

I ended up having to go up to the counter several times over the course of 2 hours (might have been longer, this was years ago) asked for management, I was basically ignored. Asked for the tech who was doing the install, he went out to lunch, not a single person was helpful and after hours, missing work, I FINALLY got a manager.

They replaced my rims, that was it. Was just a terrible experience over all.

don't know too much about tires. maybe i can get some suggestions. i got the michelin defender for the minivan about 3-4yrs. ago but i was being cheap and didn't do a full alignment so tire has worn out faster than normal. any suggestion on these other brands for a minivan. michelin is too darn expensive and it's not on sale either.
I dont think it got to do with the alignment. I got the same 4 set of tire and did the alignment once a year. The tires still worn out fast, especially the outside rims. I had to show my alignment receipt for Costco to give me the new tires under warranty.

Heard discount tire price matches costco tire prices and sams club. They are really good on their warranty based on what I seen people saying in automotive chats. Complaints about costco not honoring or charging for a tire patch

Most products made in USA or Japan have better quality control than those made in China or Mexico. The location of the parent company is irrelevant. I'd buy a Toyota made in Canada or USA over one that's made in Mexico.
