I would stay far away from these folks.
I won't recount the problems here, but you can read my write-up:

My wife is on month 5/6 and has had no issues. What kind of issues did you encounter with them?

Are they trying to compete with Metro by T-Mobile?

I saw someone mentioned it was due to Pixel phone compatibility with Verizon and pixel phone would be more friendly to TMobile based MVNO?

Again, that is quite possible. But it doesn't dismiss the fact that when they sold on Amazon they didn't provide an option for network. Additionally, when I brought the matter to their attention (which is still an ongoing issue for months now), they didn't offer a solution of swapping to the other network SIM. In fact, they didn't offer any option at all but instead ignore repeated contact attempts.

I'm thinking about doing this but I'm very hesitant about not being able to port my number away if it doesn't go well.
I do like Tello upfront pricing, and Visible 2 year price lock.

I screwed up. Got this. Took them 5 days to even ship the SIM card.
Ported over. No data. No SMS. Updated the APN per their instructions. Still nothing.
Galaxy S20FE on Verizon. 😞
Best case scenario I guess I can try to port out, and lose my $100.

We had the 15gb infimibile plan (eBay only) for 6 months and had zero issues. Switched to Mint... Have had nothing but problems with throttling and download speeds with mint.

I tried them out and in many areas where Visible and Total Wireless were plenty fast, Infinobile was horriblly slow. Also, read their Terms.

Quotes from their Terms.
"You do not have any legal right to your phone number. Notwithstanding that, you may transfer ("port") your phone number to or from Infimobile. "

It reads as if they own your number and porting is a privilege that they give you. I would challenge that with FCC.

"Any port out request will incur a $25 charge. User can avoid this fee by committing to staying with Infimobile for a minimum of 3 months."

They would hold your phone number hostage for $25 or 3 months. Don't port in your important main number. These guys sound like thugs.

I get 300mpbs down and only 8mbps up at my house, but calls/text go through np. I was on the 500mb/100min/100sms per month 'deal buster' plan prepaid for a year, from last may for $38.68. It expires in a few days, so I just 'upgraded' to 5gb/2500min/1500txt plan for $81 incl tax, since the renewal price of the last years plan was over $60.

The OP's 10gb plan has unlimited call/text for $99 + tax, probably $105 or so.
Hotspot is an exta $5/mo but I rarely use it.
You can reach cust svc on the phone pretty quick and they are ok to help with stuff, like renewal.
They are pretty picky when it comes to your address and IMEI number as to whether they will even allow you Verizon service.
