Completely different tool. I have both and probably use my Dremel rotary tool slightly more.

The Dremel gets used to cut small pieces of metal, polish metal, and occasionally sand small pieces of wood.

My oscillating saw only ever gets used to cut door jamb trim when I was installing floor or some cuts when doing carpentry work.

This is pretty slick.

X/Y suffix is the number of attachments and number of accessories.
N/39 means 0 attachments and 39 accessories.
For reference, Dremel 3000-1/24 and 1/25 currently goes for ~$65 and rarely goes under $50 (Amazon price history).

Not included with this model, but is the flex shaft any good?
Seems like Costco has one with the flex shaft, but others on Amazon don't.

Thanks.

How did this compare to the Harbor freight equivalent?
I've have the collet lock on the harbor freight one break on me.

Flex shaft is of good quality, but not as useful as I'd hoped. Not long enough to keep from having to pull the tool out of the mount I made for it. Certainly not worth nearly $50 more.

The flexible shaft gives you the option to attach the bit to a smaller diameter tool, but its not much shorter plus you have a stiff shaft to deal with. Also, if you bend the flexible shaft too tight, the inner shaft pulls out of the drive head although the outer sleave remains attached. When this happens, the tool stops spinning. I got my flex shaft at closeout at HD but rarely use it.

I think the Gaggia Classic is great. I bought an older Classic on Ebay, and it has been part of my morning routine for four years now, two double shots every morning. In that time I've only replaced the shower screen dispersion plate, shower screen, and gasket (twice):

I use my Baratza Sette to grind 15g. I dial in of course, but once I have it, I don't fuss with the grind much. After I let the machine warm up a few minutes, I pull a water shot to make sure the screen is clean and warm up the basket and espresso cup. Speaking of baskets, I use a non-pressurized basket that fits in the Gaggia's portafilter. It's cheap and it works great.
https://www.espressoparts.com/pro...asket-14gr You don't get to watch tiger striping like you do with a bottomless portafilter and basket, but it's not necessary and its less messy.

With that 15g of coffee, I pull a shot for about 25 seconds and usually get about 1.75 ounces. Easy peasy. Ffortunately for me, I have zero issues with scale from my city water. What I'm trying to say is, making a delicious espresso shot doesn't have to be complicated or difficult with the Classic.
Are you aware that this is not a coffee deal?

New home owner. Do I need a rotary tool or an oscillating multi-tool? Are they the same and if not what is more useful for DIY around the house ?

Is this better than the $20 rotary tools at Home Depot that come with attachments for sharpening lawn mower blades etc.?

It was $17 from Walmart in 2021 (I only know because I picked up up then): https://slickdeals.net/e/15007111-dremel-3000-n-18-variable-speed-rotary-tool-17?attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue&src=SiteSearchV2Algo

EDIT: This kit comes with more accessories than the Walmart kit did

This is a solid deal, I'd pick one up now if I didn't have one.
