When go to Activate first New Phone "One you've purchased through Tracfone" The plan is tied to IMEI you select keep number which can do Port in from another carrier.

Once port is complete you activate second phone imei same way with "Keep Number" and use ported number and it will extend the plan to 2 years and 3000/3000/3gb

Tracfone doesn't like SIM swapping because phone IMEI is tied to sim card. So reactivating with new sim/esim is proper way to tie phone IMEI to SIM. "keep your own phone" to use Iphone ESIM to change devices once you have the 2 years setup or buy BYOP tracfone sim from amazon/target/bestbuy.
I guess after they get rid of 3G
Maybe 5+ years. Whenever 6G fully rolls out, they usually only keep spectrum for the last two gens. That's why worrying about 4G retiring on a sub-$100 phone that won't last 5 years is overthinking it.

Also when unlocked, these are great for overseas trips to where petty theft is common. Many developing world countries don't even have 5G.

Not bad, but it doesn't have 5G support, something that should be minimum nowadays for best network coverage as 5G is replacing 4G.

And it's $80 now if you can't use coupon. They've really cracked down on people using 1st time customer coupons.

Until they have no customers.
It's not like they were Amazon or Walmart or Alibaba.
If they want to be another dying "America" company, it's their choice.

It's surprising that some people buy stuff from their site without a coupon.

So just using a different email won't work? Any tips? Asking for a friend.

Different email, name, address, credit card & still some have reported having orders cancelled. All they have to do is suspect something. Have friend/family order.

Sounds like you've done this deal before. Could you clarify:
- Can the plans from the 2 pack be combined to make it 2 years on a single account?
- Can a phone number be ported in to this combined account, after activation of the phone?

If I can port my mom's phone number to this service, and be able to swap this SIM into her unlocked iphone, this will be perfect for her as a light cell phone user.

I was also considering this Redpocket service for $30/year which would be a straightforward deal at $2.50/month for slightly higher allotment of mins/txt/data:

Thanks!
