Hardly "Random". It's not like they're just some guy that created an eBay store that he operates in his garage. EE has been around for 40 years, with 20 stores in the SE USA, and been selling online for 25 years. They're also one of the retailers that is widely used on Green Toe.

Log out of your account and checkout as Guest. You still enter all of your billing information and the code works. This process has been stated on other slickdeals for this coupon:

The reason why no one really bought the C3 was due to the fact that the ABL cannot be turned off. Not even in the service menu. The constant shifting of brightness especially while gaming and movie watching was the issue.

They're an authorized LG seller. Same as buying through any other company. Reviews for them are really good. They have these deals regularly when the coupon codes come up. I've been waiting on a 77" C3 to drop. But tempted with this 65" price.

According to this thread, is been fixed for over a year. Someone said some other brightness setting dims picture while gaming on PC even after the fix, I can't say, but general TV watching seems to be fixed.
