The "limited lifetime warranty" on torque wrenches is different than the "lifetime warranty" on other Husky tools and excludes calibration. I don't know of any brand torque wrench warranty that actually does include calibration as it is just the nature of these things to go out of calibration with use and time.

Are you replacing head gaskets? Rebuilding short blocks? Installing main bearings? Crank bearings?
If you are, $50 torque wrench may not be your best tool. Something digital with angle sensors and better calibrated may be what you're looking for.
If you are replacing axles, suspension components, subframe bolts, etc. this will do just fine.

Yes, they swap it no questions asked. So you don't need to calibrate, just go and swap it for a new one.

From husky rep in Q&A:

"The only difference is the country in which they are assembled. Both are forged in Taiwan, with the -03 being assembled in our plant in Mexico."

From ChatGPT

The key difference is likely in model updates or minor updates, such as improved readability of the scale on the newer H2DTWA-03 model . Otherwise, they function similarly in terms of performance and durability.

What's the consensus on the accuracy of these? Better than HF but still wont use on engine components?

How do you test the accuracy of one of these? I have a cheapo HF model and it just doesn't seem right.

No tool difference. -03 assembled in Mexico. The other one assembled else where supposedly.
