Very good deal. Bought ours at full price and have used it quite a lot.

Recommend some sort of a cover for the oven when not in use, and try to flip the stone every few times you use it. The Ooni branded peel is nice, I'd recommend against the perforated one.

You can also take a leaf blower to the inside and it blows out any leftover semolina/corn meal and charred remains before storage.

For use, we turn it on full for 20-30min, then turn it down to low right before we put the pizza in. Rotate frequently, and then when you pull yours out, crank it back to high again for the next pizza.
Great deal. Lowest price in years it seems like? I have been holding out for a deal on the 16" Koda but just snagged one of these, thanks OP.

Looks like the Ooni Koda 12 doesn't work with Ooni's Natural Gas Conversion Kit.
So, the 12 inch model can only be used only with Propane tanks Frown

Where's a good place to get a replacement stone? And what some recommended peels people are using?

This is why I ended up with the 16 inch. Also, I find it much easier to turn the pizza with a bent fork on the 16 inch model. The 12 is a pain because I have to pull the pizza out completely to turn it usually. The 16 also has a side burner which seems to more evenly heat the inside. Just my two cents.

We've had the 12 for 4 years now and have no problem turning the pizza in the oven using a turning peel.

My sister in law broke ours. We made her buy another, Ace Hardware carried it in Cali!
World Market has some wood peels to make the pizzas on and throw them. Ross is the cheapest IF you can find them. I just saw some at Hobby Lobby too...

I got the $110 12" one from Sam's that has the rotating stone. I would say the rotating stone is worth it. Cooks in about 3-4 mins. I get temps around 650-700.

Having this for several years now, it's just okay IMO. You can make great pizza with it but the amount of effort is high. We use it once a year at this point.

I agree. It does take effort and time and doesn't really cook pizzas in 60 sec as advertised. You also have to wait 3 min or so between pizzas for the stone to heat back up. Otherwise, it leaves the crust undercooked. You also have to rotate the pizza few times while cooking and it takes 4-5 min per pizza.

That being said, once you find a pattern and if you want to do this as a hobby, it's worth it to crank this up a few times a year.

The price point is also more reasonable with this Costco deal.

I bought a pizza I've. On amazon for like $90. Also came with accessories & a cover. & it's stone can be manually rotated for even cooking. Would recommend.

Yes - and we haven't even talked about the prep with dough, pizza peels, trays.

We found a shortcut with the dough at least - Aldi's refrigerated pizza dough. Cheap and freezable.

I think pizza ovens are good if you get together often with a big group and have a build your own pizza party. Something fun to do. Otherwise, way too easy to just order from a pizza place that can it better than I ever can.
