I try to comment every time that this stud finder comes up. I really don't care for this tool. I never use mine anymore. It's rarely accurate at finding studs and the electrical detection gets very oversensitive to the point that I sometimes have it tell me an entire wall is pure electrical, when I know for a fact that it isn't. I bought a multi light bar stud finder (mine happens to be a Franklin, I've used other brands too) and it's infinitely superior to every "beep" type of stud finder (like the one in this post) that I've ever had in my life.

Which Franklin do you recommend? Is M70 good enough?

I was coming here to say this needs to be on a Dadshirt. Probably from Woot.

And then you find it doesn't beep.

Interesting! Thank you. I might try this one.

I was going to go with a Franklin, but those dont detect metal, wires, cables, etc.
