This is only $20 more at Dell.com, but comes with $21 in Dell Rewards, there are several Amex offers for Dell floating around (I have $100 off $500), and you can score quite a bit of cash back through other methods. Dell seems like the choice here, not Amazon or Best Buy.
Dell also has 5% and 10% off coupons you can get for .edu as well as some other ways.
Also, anyone who uses Alienware Arena might already have some Dell rewards (especially if they got the $30-60 for Intel Gamer Days recently).
How is this monitor with handling text? I have always had an IPS since I was nervous about burn in since I do a lot with spreadsheets and static data on screen throughout the day? I'd like to upgrade to something larger than 27" but wondering if this is the wrong way to go for my use case and if text is harder to read on a QD OLED? I do game in the evenings but definitely not the primary use of this screen for me.
Thanks

This monitor is amazing but they still arrive with scuffs, especially near the edges due to the plastic cover it sits on in the box. I got over it, and really don't see them during use. Just wasn't worth swapping to me when the oled panel itself seemed fine.
The display surface is just too fragile. Clean it once and check with a flashlight for scratches... each cleaning adds more. Good monitor otherwise!
Dell matched the $679.99 price. The real deal was getting this monitor 2 weeks ago for $899.99 with a $250 Dell eGC and 15% CB. I price matched this morning to the $699.99 sale price.

I have OLED everything but looking at this at the store literally made me dizzy. It is sooooo blurry and has purple finging on the text. 100% look at one first. Hoping gen 2 fixes all that.
Love this monitor. Easily one of the best purchases I've made for my gaming setup. Amazing clarity, colors, and deep blacks. Amex deals with Dell are best option if you have it.
