To be clear I have no idea about this particular product, but I recently bought a car that I needed one and tried a number of them. Finally bit the bullet and paid about $60 for mine and it now works flawlessly. I would be worried to good to be true, but with Amazon's return policy might be worth a shot.

Sort reviews and look at the latest; they're really bad.

Well? Which one did you buy that actually works?

I have been using another product since past 2 yrs: carlinkit wireless carplay adapter … found it very useful… once in 10 times it gives connection issue… however once connected to phone, it works as a chime in my CRV 2018

Amazon is flooded with these no name adapters. They are all the same. As usual with these items, they work but 90% of the time. I went back to using a wire because of small annoying issues and bugs

It's so strange to me that this isn't something that Apple makes an official version of.

We are very close to having solid wireless CarPlay devices. If you follow the car audio scene the Chinese imports are starting to get better and better.

I've not used this device but we had great results with Ottocast. Our 2018 Audi had wired CarPlay. I picked up the Ottocast U2-AIR, it was free for review...I think from kickstarter I don't remember.

Have had it a few years and have not had to think about it, reset it, no connection issues...not once in the whole time I've had it.

This looks fake as hell. Check out this review. No one types like this:

"I've always been a fan of keeping my car's interior as clean and clutter-free as possible, and this wireless CarPlay adapter fits perfectly into that aesthetic. The compact design is easy to hide, and it connects wirelessly to my iPhone without any visible cables. This has significantly reduced the mess in my car, making it a much more pleasant environment.
Beyond the aesthetic benefits, the adapter offers seamless performance. It connects automatically as soon as I start the car, and I've experienced zero latency during use. The dual-mode Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities ensure a stable connection, even when streaming music or using navigation for extended periods. Siri's voice control works just as well as it did with the wired setup, allowing me to manage tasks hands-free, which is essential for safe driving.
The build quality is top-notch as well. The combination of aluminum alloy and glass not only looks good but also keeps the device cool, even during long drives in hot weather. This adapter has definitely improved my driving experience, both in terms of functionality and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium, wireless CarPlay solution."

I've used a number of these (a few free with Amazon Vine), and the best one I've used is Carlinkit. I bought the 3.0 several years ago, and it's still working great. Recently I bought the 5.0 for my company car, and it's equally as good. There is a delay with Siri, and when you hit forward/rewind on podcasts/audio books, but in the setting you can adjust the delay down to 300 ms, which isn't nearly that bad. The next best one I used was the Ottocast (received free from Vine) and it was surprisingly good. I gave that one to my sister, and she loves it. All the rest seem to be the same/similar interface just in a different package. I would bet this falls into that last category. While they work, they just aren't as snappy as the Carlinkit or Ottocast.

It's a glitchy hack that doesn't work 100% of the time. If I wanted cool, but glitchy features that only work 90% of the time, I'd get an Android.
