This is on par with a 27" 1440p monitor. No, I'm not being dumb or silly. Both a 27" 16:9 display and a 34" 21:9 at 1440p are around 109 PPI (pixels per inch). Because of this, both should appear to have similar visual qualities.

Here's a PPI chart I made for myself a while ago.
16:9

22" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) is 90.05 ppi
22" FullHD (1920x1080) is 100.13 ppi
24" FullHD (1920x1080) is 91.79 ppi
27" FullHD (1920x1080) is 81.59 ppi
27" WQHD (2560x1440) is 108.79 ppi
32" WQHD (2560x1440) is 91.79 ppi
32" UHD (3840x2160) is 137.68 ppi
37" UHD (3840x2160) is 119.08 ppi
40" UHD (3840x2160) is 110.15 ppi
43" UHD (3840x2160) is 102.46 ppi
47" UHD (3840x2160) is 93.74 ppi

21:9

29" UW-FHD (2560x1080) is 95.81 ppi
34" UW-FHD (2560x1080) is 81.72 ppi
34" UW-QHD (3440x1440) is 109.68 ppi

Jeeze, I'd honestly rather have this monitor at this price than my Samsung G8.

Thanks, great deal as far as I'm concerned - bought this last year for about $270, it's been great for video editing (I don't play fast-paced games on PC so that performance doesn't concern me). Have $250+ Dell Rewards points that start expiring next month so in for another one.

i usually use my 14 inch laptop for regular task. Just want a big screen when work on company thing over the weekend. Tell me i need this for the upgrade!. lol.
You won't regret buying it, that's for sure. It'll last you 10 years. By far the best price I've seen on it thus far. My only issue with monitors of this size is that they're almost too big depending on how far you sit from it. Still may not stop me from buying two to upgrade my 24" side monitors.

I run a triple monitor setup for my PC. Honestly a great setup, it's insanely productive for having one document on a screen and working on the main monitor. 3 is kind of overkill, but a dual monitor setup is amazing. It sounds like you have a 24" right now, so if you buy this you could use it as your main and turn your 24" horizontal in portrait mode. Super productive. When I'm gaming, I'll throw a YouTube video explaining how to do something on one monitor, Discord on another and the game on the main.

I bought 4 of these almost exactly 1 year ago. If my GPU could output to 5 displays, Id buy another.

Context - 5-display set up - 2x27" and 3x34" - was rekt in a lightning strike. So, home insurance paid to replace and I went with 4 of these Dell displays.

I play world of tanks and after using a custom color profile downloaded from someplace and using DisplayCAL, these displays look just awesome. granted, Ive never had OLED, but Ive used TN, VA, and IPS displays before and I simple prefer these panels.

I use only one for gaming and the others are used for a WFH situation.

You cant go wrong for $200 on these.

I've been looking for a monitor deal and the comments here make this seem like a good deal - I was able to get an extra 5% coupon through my work email so it came down to $190.

Can this be adjusted up and down or swirl left and right?
