HIGHLY recommend this tool. I bought one at full price on a whim because I needed to let my other half take my small inflator that connects to a 12v car port. I figured I'd get one that I could use batteries on. Well, being able to run this off of a battery is wildly useful. You can switch the hose around and turn it into a little compressed air blower, you can take it out to inflate tires on yard equipment (Thought our garden cart was fine until it had 400lbs of dirt in it and then it wouldn't move in the middle of the yard. Portable inflator to the rescue.)

I can't speak for longevity other than to say I've had mine for about a year and it still works/functions like new, and half the time it lives in my car.

So I couldn't find my Milwaukee M12 inflator so I borrowed this one from someone else and it kept turning off when it felt more than 30 to 40 psi of resistance
There was something wrong with it. I have two of these that inflate semi tires to 120psi.

This is a great tool to own. Cars, balls, bikes. Works like a charm to a specified PSI - very convenient.
Backup plugin cord as well

I love this thing. Great to pop in a battery and do the mower, vehicle tires, inflatable mattress, etc.

I own two of these. If you need add-ons, get these. I recommend all of these (I own them):

AC to DC Power Adapter (nice to have if you have a wall outlet in the garage)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JGS8CN2

JACO Lightning S2-Series Tire Air Chuck (get the S2, better than S1) - upgraded tire chuck makes the connection to the tire valve easier and faster, unfortunately only sold as a 2-pack
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZHM5W91

Milton S-684-4 1/4" MNPT Male Tank Valve (you need this adapter if you want to use the JACO tire chuck above)

This is a GREAT inflator. Absolutely love it - the normal price is usually around $150 though at Lowes, so take that for what you will.

I can fill my camper trailer tires at 80psi with this unit. I also recently used it to blow out the lines at 40psi for winterizing. I keep this in my truck at all times.

That first one is very clever. Way cheaper than the official DeWalt AC adapter.

Have to post every time I see this on a deal. Hands down, it's worth the money. It's one of my favorite dewalt tools and works amazingly well.

Don't know if this was the problem, but the manufacturer says that every ten minutes of runtime, it needs to cool off for another 20 minutes so it doesn't overheat. It may have shut itself off for thermal protection.
Doubt it. I have one of these and it inflates pretty fast, like from 25 to 36 in a matter of a minute or two. Can't imagine leaving this running for 10 full minutes and it shutting off at 30/40 psi. It's either user error or something was wrong with that specific inflator.

Found the review I watched from Project Farm. He even inflates a truck tire from empty to 60 psi in one go over 20 minutes and inflates a car tire from empty to 35 psi in 6 minutes.
