Thanks. I bought one. A couple of reviewers said they use it as a pruner. The photo of it being used to cut paper sold me. That level of cutting would be versatile.

Super versatile. I am in the trades and only discovered these type of shears maybe 15 years ago. I know it sounds ridiculous but they were almost life changing both on the job and around the house and it is why I gush about them. You can cut a radiator hose, heavy leather or sheet steel and turn around to cut some craft paper or flower stems with precision. Can take real fine nips with the tips and the small size gives great control. They stay sharp forever even under heavy use and abuse. Do keep fingers away as they will slice you good and I imagine could even cut one off.

The first set I had were branded and marketed as electrical/all purpose shears and I don't recall the name but they cost over $20 and I would gladly pay that price again if need be. I believe these Lowes branded ones are of the exact same make and out of the same factory.

May be off in the weeds a bit but these are a very good deal even at regular price. Look on Amazon for similar and most are junky and run near $20.

Oh no please don't! You don't want to, it gets more disturbing as you get in deeper. The mods have took some upacked stuff down. Even a Freud or Jung would be horrified and shocked at what they find and step away quick.

They will cut siding. may not be ideal for long cuts but I used them for that and cutting and and fitting j channel, coil stock, flashing etc. In many ways the smaller form factor is better as it is easier to miscut with some of the larger siding snips where the length of the snips make fine controla a bit tough. Much preferred them for J and intricate and precise cuts in siding.

Great deal, OP. I like these so much that I purchased another set at this price. I really haven't found anything better at cutting through that Harbor Freight and Costco clam shell packaging.
I did the exact same thing. I liked them so much when I bought them last black Friday for $7 that I bought a second pair & use them for clam shell packages too! Haha good stuff. They really are great for that price

I bought these last time. They are very good.. The one thing that's bad is the will rust if you get them wet.

Need to put oil on them . That said I don't know what oil is best to put on myself. I think there's some dry oils so dirt won't stick if anyone knows which oil I should put on these shears please tell me.

I am ordering more of these

If I buy these do you think it'll stop my wife from destroying all of my GD scissors?

Just picked these up. The steel is soft. I tried cutting a rawhide bully stick using these and the cutting edge bent. I'm gonna have to disassemble to flat grind.
