For those who don't know, the gift card is simply just a refund on the credit card that you use to pay for the tv. Worked out really good for me, bc my parents let me use my cc to pay for it so I can earn the miles, then when I got the refund, they said its mine for the keeping, so win win.

The warranty is a big deal for some people, but you can use the money you're saving with no tax to buy one separately from Costco or something. From what I've heard, I wouldn't recommend the warranty Greentoe offers. Or you can spend a little more, get there G3 which is a much better tv and have a 5 year panel warranty that covers burn in. Overall, this is a pretty good deal though. I didn't realize the warranty came with it. If it covers burn in, I'd go for it. Or do Greentoe and call buy dig to see if customer service will give you a warranty since you're not getting the GC.

I respectfully prefer to use a different merchant than Buydig

Costco deal going live later today for $1499 - I think 10/23 is just the date LG allows its retailers and probably itself to cut prices - same as two weeks ago

The only two stores I know that have a 5 year warranty with burn-in coverage are Best Buy and Video Only which is only in NorCal, Oregon, and Washington.

Yes it comes from LG themselves. It says it on the box itself.
