For those who don't know, the gift card is simply just a refund on the credit card that you use to pay for the tv. Worked out really good for me, bc my parents let me use my cc to pay for it so I can earn the miles, then when I got the refund, they said its mine for the keeping, so win win.
Anyone else contemplating waiting for Dec/January for the C or G4's to drop further, before the C5's are announced?
Rather than price drops I want to see 2025 lineup actually. We may see more drastic upgrades on C series this year. G is always flagship and always will be expensive.

Thanks, I'm holding out for the 83" G4, G5 would be a lot as you said

Was checking 65 c3 deals from earlier in 2024. There was one good deal from Amazon for about $100 less than what you can get the C4 now $1400 in February
In January there was a cheaper deal from Walmart but it was through Beach Camera and YMMV and an even cheaper deal if you picked up from Walmart but again it was YMMV
IIf you factor in the warranty and the visa gift card those deals are not better I however am not a BuyDig fan - I want to get the 65" from either LG or Costco but I wanted LG.com to include soundbar but they are only doing on partner site. I dont think cash back will work on partner site and thats a deal breaker for me

What phone number did you call to get 15% off ? What did you tell them to get 15% off ?
Thank you
It was just on LG.com, searched LG 65" c4 and within a couple minutes
chat opened up and said, I can see that you're interested in OLED65C4PUA. We want to offer you an exclusive 15% discount today. If you're ready to make it yours, use the code today. Happy shopping!

lol chat is still open and THis time they finally admitted the xtended warranty does not cover burn-in.
Thank you for that information, I will be checking into this further for you, if you would like.
Thank you for waiting. From what I have found out, the manufacturer's warranty covers the burn-in, but the extended warranty with LG Premium Care doesn't. You can see more about the warranty here. https://www.lg.com/us/PDF/warrant...WL056F.pdf
All-in-all, decent bot or customer service. Though it's extremely rare I'd have my computer on for that long while doing a thousand other things.
Finally closed out LG.com

Nice tips. For the bold, were you already an existing customer or... ? I have the 4% Citi cash back offer. When you used the cash back site- Did you click through their site first and then just pay with the Citi card?
Thx.
I had an existing LG TV but I don't think they even checked.
For the merchants offer you need to first log into Citi and enroll in the offer. Then pay using your Citi credit card. The cash back happens later

Yeah back 2 weeks ago they gave me a code and said it would be only good for 24 hours but still working
Partner site is better than with coupon in some situations and includes soundbar depeneding on model - coupon does not work on partner site
We wanted to inform you that your offer for the LG OLED Evo C4 77" 4K HDR Smart TV has received a counter-offer!
If you raise your offer to $1999, it will get accepted instantly. This $1999 price is the TOTAL AMOUNT that you will be charged (including free shipping).
Please let me know if your interested in raising your offer by either replying to this email or changing your price here.
If you have any questions, feel free to reply and I'll get back to you right away.
Please Note: The retailer does not charge tax in GA and shipping is free! The total price you will pay is $1999
By the way, I noticed you added an extended warranty to your offer. The above pricing is before the warranty and that order will be processed separately once this offer is accepted. You can make changes to your extended warranty selection by clicking here.
Thanks,
-Chris
this would bring my total to $2187 with the 4 year warranty. If I want to roll the dice I could just forgo the warranty. My 65CX has 0 issues after 4+ years
With tax the buydig price is $2305
