If you can find a use for the promo gc, I say yes. There's 10% cashback right now as well though I think that can be ymmv with the 10% coupon (my mileage is I haven't had it cancelled when I've used a coupon before).

Monitor is usually $1,200.00, not sure where you're getting $1,450.00 from.

There's 12% CB available, and Chase Freedom 5% on Paypal, but listing the price as $1450 is extremely misleading. The monitor's price is $1200. The $250 gift card's value is not nearly $250, especially because of the 90 expiration date, and most of all of the extremely limited selection of items you can buy. Dell's store lately has been on a purge of third party accessories, including all kb + mice from Logitech, headphones from big brands, etc. Right now I'm struggling to find anything to spend my $54 rewards that expire on Nov 15th. Even if you can find something good, it's usually much more expensive than other places so the value of the GC decreases as well cause of that.

Picked one up pretty good deal. Ends up being $1020 CB (17%) $173 + 280 in Dell Rewards = effective cost $567 + Tax. Or $847 + $280 in Dell rewards. I bet with the right Black Friday Deal I'll be able to purchase something and sell it to recover close to the $280 Dell rewards value

I believe the gift card offer ended this morning. It was right by the price tag at the bottom.
