$30 seems a lot for this

Isn't it better to wait for the vac deals next month where they include this kit for free?

If you don't need the vac, you can sell it and basically get this for free

You can just trim it and twist the end back on

Never heard of the Bauer kit at Harbor Freight. I've been waiting a year for the Ridgid to drop in price to purchase. Since they are both the same price now, I might stick with the Ridgid that has the clasp at the vacuum end to secure over the Bauer. But I'll keep my eye out for a HF coupon and think about if I want to be a good slick dealer or just clean my car and be happy the Ridgid dropped in price.

I was excited to find a deal and post and give back to the SD community who have helped me. Now you have ruined it ! Nice find ! You should get some reps....but I'd like them anyway for my post because it is a good savings on the RIDGID!
Thanks for your research. Yes, that is a good YT comparison.

It's been on here for cheaper than this ($20 maybe). It's a good kit, but I would have no qualms about getting the HF version if it is $10 less. Not sure where the coupon is though.

Anyone know if these orange hoses can be put together to make the hose longer? I have one of these and I refuse to use the hose and attachments that came with the vac cause this one is much better quality and easier to work with but I want a longer hose many times. Can I extend with 2 of these?
