When they refund you TIV they refund tax also. They adjust TIV with phone price and recalculate tax and refund the amount. Ideally the refund will be more than TIV.

I Ordered online, S24 Ultra 512gb then I did the whole process of trading in my S22 Ultra, then paid etc etc and chose pick up in the next few days. Then go online on your order page, try to cancel the order then you'll see prompts asking for your reason. Then day found a better price.... Then check price match. Then open the chat window and copy and pastes your Amazon price/page. Then the live chat guy will work his magic and after a few minutes will tell you they will price match. Make sure it's an Amazon seller and not 3rd party. Then you will receive your credit thru email after maybe 1 hour. I just did it a couple of hours ago.

I had an old iPhone SE 2nd Gen lying around. Was about to trade in my S22 ultra until I saw I could also get $800 for the iPhone!
