I think what's more important is how many ounces it is. The description and pic both show 150z. Is Purex any good?

I use their free and clear and its the best i have used for sensitive skin. But i have also used their mountain breeze and works well and smells nice with out being over powering. People that like a strong perfume or flowery smell might not like it. But they do have stronger scented options as well.

How does it compare to Tide for color fastness while getting stains out, keeping whites white etc.?

This is a lower mid-tier. Their Oxi version is their best but still a mid-tier.
