Probably recency bias from the 2024 model being on sale for $999 yesterday. $899 is a great price for this unit but it is showing 999 at my local Costco locations.

Showing 999 at my costcos on Oahu but $800 at Maui. I'm seeing other deals too, 77" sony a80 for $1500.

I saw this yesterday for $900 but it was open box floor model. So if it says 899 then it's probably brand new. Good luck to people if they get it

Amazing deal to those who can find it. Imagine a LG C3 for $900 with costco warranty.

Samsungs are usually priced slightly higher too.
