Good tv at a good price.. The B series is the entry level LG OLED. I have a feeling the c4 which is a bit better of a tv will be around this price or perhaps sub $3000 around black Friday.... If you're in a rush then get this. If not, I'd recommend to wait.

The LG C4 and Samsung S90C are very similar in performance except when it comes to the 83" model. Samsung uses a different OLED panel. WOLED instead of QD-OLED.
I asked rtngs and they said the lgb4 83 uses woled not a qd just saying

Definitely tempting. Currently have a 77" G1, but we decided we can make that 83" fit. Will likely wait for a C or G deal around Superbowl (that's when I got my G1 and my 65" C7" before that), but damn this is tempting...

Seriously considering this. Coming from a 77" C1 that I brought from Costco a few years ago. The only thing is the 77" had an evo panel. Still the 83" is now cheaper than the 77" from a few years ago.

It's so hard to pull the trigger on an OLED knowing if that I wait another year or 2, I can probably get an 83" G for around this price. I almost pulled the trigger on a 77" A1 2 years ago for $1900 🤣. Guess I'll live with my 65" B7 from 2017 for a little longer.

So I checked the C3 will offer closer to 900nits vs this closer to 700 nits peak brightness.

Upgraded from a 65" C9 to a 77" B3 from Costco last year for a similar deal but cheaper since it was a smaller size. Hard to tell the difference in image quality unless youre watching side by side imo. B series is a solid deal, especially for introduction to oled. One thing I did notice is that it turns on slightly slower than the C9 did. Other than that, no complaints.
