Was wondering the same thing about the ads on the screen. I was able to use code HOLIDAY30 to take 30 off instead of the 20 so that's not a bad deal: $55 plus tax

One word of advice. It does not support anything other than fat32 for external drives. It was amazon choice to keep you locked out

Yikes 3GB RAM and Amazon is comparing it to 2022 Galaxy Tab A8 Durability rather than spec. But at that price it's hard to argue.

I have several of these tablets. I picked them up when they are super cheap at Amazon prime days or deals like this. My autistic son uses one. To be clear these are not productivity devices. Don't expect to be doing real work on them or playing games. I stream Netflix, Hulu, local cable and Max. They work amazing for that.

Agree, I use mine for all the streaming apps. Also great for reading Kindle books and comic books.

Nice thing about the price is that I don't have to be paranoid handling it like a $1000 iPad Pro. I toss it in my bag mostly without care and carry it with me everywhere. Fully expect to trade this into Amazon while also nabbing the extra 20% discount whenever the new model comes out and on sale.

I give one these to my son to watch Netflix and play Minecraft. Works perfectly well for that kinda thing and I don't have to worry about it if he breaks it. Their child profile setup is pretty good now too and you can easily limit the apps and content and the interface is pretty simple in the kid profile.
