will 28-200mm able to do the 2.8 aperture throughout the entire range? so 200mm @ f2.8?

Might be the wrong place to ask but I have an OLD Tamron AF 28-200mm that I still use on a Canon T7 (I know, high end stuff). Is there a more modern lens that is still affordable with a similar focal length range that would be worth upgrading to (I'm flexible on brand)? I end up leaving the 28-200mm on the camera because it is so flexible. TBH nothing is wrong with the current lens.

Nice deals again. I got the 50-300 for $675 through Greentoe about a month ago. $650 (tax included) is a great price. I also have the 28-200. Really great flexible lens for travel.

28-200 is what I have on my a7iii here in Thailand. If only I didn't have shutter failure on morning 2 of my trip. Limping it along in silent mode Frown
