Nice deals again. I got the 50-300 for $675 through Greentoe about a month ago. $650 (tax included) is a great price. I also have the 28-200. Really great flexible lens for travel.
28-200 is what I have on my a7iii here in Thailand. If only I didn't have shutter failure on morning 2 of my trip. Limping it along in silent mode
Oh bummer. At least you have silent mode! We're actually traveling to Thailand in December and I'm planning to bring the 28-200 too.
Too bad the fix takes weeks. There are authorized sony service centers in Bangkok and Chaing Mai (sends to Bangkok). Was hoping to get it done while I'm here, oh well. Bad luck of the draw for me with only 34k shutter count. Thailand is beautiful and the food is amazing.

Yeah, that's bad luck! Hope you're able to make do and are having a great trip. We're really looking forward to it.
Might be the wrong place to ask but I have an OLD Tamron AF 28-200mm that I still use on a Canon T7 (I know, high end stuff). Is there a more modern lens that is still affordable with a similar focal length range that would be worth upgrading to (I'm flexible on brand)? I end up leaving the 28-200mm on the camera because it is so flexible. TBH nothing is wrong with the current lens.
grab the 55-250 STM model and prepare to be impressed. Every Canon shooter should have one.
Will these lenses fit both crop sensor and full frame?
This lens works for both crop sensor like A6700 and full frame like A7IV. Unless you have both APS-C and full frame camera or about to switch to full frame, otherwise usually people would want lighter/smaller (and likely cost less) APS-C lens for there lighter APS-C camera.
Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD Lens for Sony E $549
it mentioned mount-E. does it mean the image will be cropped if I use it on a full frame camera?
You probably haven't done any research of Tamron Lens Codes? Di III usually mean Sony E-mount Lens developed for Full Frame camera
and Di III-A stands for lens developed for APS-C sensors.
All the lens mentions are Di III and none of those is Di III-A. So all are developed for Full Frame Lens which can be also be used with APS-C camera if you want.
