Agree. When I first started buying these they didn't have that stitching on rear like do now. Hate the new stitching. Contacted them about it and all they wanted was for me to send them to the manufacturer to investigate what I was complaining about. I gave up.

Yep. I ordered a few different types because the picture didn't have that stitching….but they arrived with it. Guess it's something someone gets used to, but when you are already used to wearing a smooth/one piece backside, these just feel uncomfortable.

I have these from the prime day deals. They have the rear stitching but I didn't even notice until I read this thread.

I think the issue is, I have never had underwear with this type of stitching. All mine have always been smooth. Been wearing Calvin Klein modal boxer briefs for the past 10 years or so and they are extremely soft where you don't even feel them on. Wanted to try these with the support pouch, and the stitching 100% noticeable and a bit uncomfortable. Just really really odd. But I see most Hanes are like this so many people are used to it.

I was so mad when I got a pair from Target and realized the stitching was different. Like you said, makes no sense. It'd be one thing if the stitching was soft, but its not and it'll chew you up so fast.
