Pretty bad price. Only comes with 3 packs and the promo card is warped due to how it's packaged with the plastic screen.

Target had the better Masbosstiff Ex box that came with 4 packs and 3 promos for $10.41 just last week. Even it's current price is better than this one.

I would rather get the Mabosstiff EX Box which you can get at target for $13.89, Comes with 1 extra pack and the big card of Mabosstiff, and an additional promo card of Maschiff

FYI, there is more to just "card packs are random". In most trading cards, each pack is broken up into so many normal cards, uncommon, rare, and ultra-rare aka hit cards. Even in same series of cards, you may or may not be able to get HITS depending on what version of the packs they are:

For example Hockey cards of the same series there are different types of packs : retail, blaster, fat, starter, tin, hobby. It is the same with Magic cards, I personally don't know about Pokemon but my bet it is similar. So when you are buying packs from Wal-mart/Target you aren't ever going to get the ultra rare HITS/insert cards.

as example here is the young guns chances, note how the ultra rare only appear in the hobby and e-packs.

Outburst Silver – (1:60 hobby, 1:60 e-Pack, 1:180 blaster, 1:180 starter, 1:180 tin, 1:180 hanger)
Clear Cut – (1:144 hobby)
Deluxe – /250 (hobby and e-Pack only)
Exclusives – /100 (hobby and e-Pack only)
Outburst Red – /25 (hobby and e-Pack only)
High Gloss – /10 (hobby and e-Pack only)
Outburst Gold – 1/1 (hobby and e-Pack only)

So the poster is asking, does this product contain chances for any good HITS/inserts. Generally these types of packs don't.

Not slick of a deal. 1/2 off would be slick for modern/current set packs

What? It's random. Cards in the packs are random. That isn't how it works.

They were probably wondering if the packs you get in this contain any good cards.

Rather than looking up which packs are in here and then the card lists.

I'd gotten the Target deal except nobody mentioned it or posted the deal on SD.

With Pokemon, packs are packs. People may chase certain sets, but each set has it's own hyper rares etc. You're just as likely at your gas station as you are at a local card store to get something good in the pack.

The only packs that are "bad" are the 3 card fun packs or whatever they used to sell at family dollar, or third party repacks of "mystery packs". Any genuine pokemon card pack will always have equal chance at getting "good" cards.

I appreciate the info on the others - I didn't know that. Seems sketchy to me, but I only buy pokemon, so to me his question was like asking "any winners in there" from buying a roll of lottery tickets lol.

You'll probably get $2 in garbage cards for your $11.
