This is about the only way I use Uber for anything anymore for personal travel. Uber is consistently higher than Lyft by 10-20% in the DFW area as well as others that I frequently travel to. Also a great way to convert full value of the gift card into work reimbursement over time. Thanks OP!
It is risky to hold the gc balance without adding it to your account. But if you're frequent user, like me, add only 1 $50 gc at a time. Add as you need right before placing the order, if the balance is not enough. Not saying they can't track your behavior and patterns over time, but it is better than they seeing you have $400 in your balance and stop sending you offers.
I've seen people say over the years that their fares seemed to be a little more expensive when gift card balances were in their account. Who knows what UBER is doing on the backend for the rideshare portion of their business, but I may pick this up because they wouldn't be able to pull off that move with Uber Eats.

Is this also available in store and will the same limit apply for in store purchase?
Will have to go to store to verify price but yes, signs say limit 2.
You can likely pay for it in separate lanes though, don't think there is a system limit based on past threads.

Have def seen this when comparing the prices on my gf's app compared to mine. Same with Lyft. It doesn't happen always, but does happen frequently where my prices are 20% more at times.
But like you said, it doesn't work with eats which is nice.
This is such a sweet deal. I hope Costco does bring this out now once in a while. Getting that additional 4% or $3 back using executive membership + Costco Visa makes it ever better Current Offer only Valid from 10/24 to 10/30
had a Europe trip planned where i knew i was gonna use a lot of uber. so I bought 3 of these. Came back and spent $300+ on Uber rides and also still have $300 in uber gift cards!
Uber has so many restrictions on these stupid things

But will Costco actually see your member account already bought 2 in the past 14 days?

So the gift cards didn't apply to rides in Europe?

I bought 2 in store on 13th and 2 instore on 20th. I also bought 2 online on the 16th.
Past threads, people have stated they were able to go back in and buy in separate transactions in store without issues.
