If you've played Like a Dragon and enjoyed that you will absolutely love Infinite Wealth. Everything that LaD did well, IW improved on it.

The story (although wacky and silly at some points but that's to be expected) is good as always. RGG just has a knack for really good story telling. There are a lot of "feels" moments in this game. Also, the Japanese voice acting is top notch. Shout out to Ebina's JVA. Dude deserve a trophy for his last scene.

The story follows Ichiban who, through an unfortunate mishap, travels to Hawaii to look for his long lost mother. Along the way you'll meet and befriend characters who joins your cause with the legendary Kiryu Kazuma later joining your party.

Turn based combat is not dead. It is still fun. Each character has an array of silly/wacky moves at their disposal, although you'll have to cycle through different jobs to learn different skills to cover areas that you're lacking in (magic for example). If you're an old school RPG player and have played FF this will be right up your alley.

RGG studio has also toned down their excessive trophy requirements for trophy hunters. No more having to win x number of games of mahjong or shogi or any of their arcade mini games. Those were a headache.

I bought this on sale for $25 and it's absolutely worth it. Even at $30 it's worth it. Hell, it's worth it full price. You'll get a good 70+ hours out of this and if you're aiming for the platinum probably around 80+ hours.

Highly, highly recommended!

I've read a bit about some Xbox Games working on both xbox and PC. But I'm guessing that might only be digital license games and maybe only Xbox first party stuidios?

It's a digital only thing.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you about the story. The split protagonists, splitting up your party, and different fight styles were disappointing. I loved "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" in every way, but while the game mechanics themselves were an improvement I was left wanting more. It made me want another "Judgement" game, which in my eyes is the better series.

Thank you, was a long shot, and thinking about it for more than a second it wouldn't really make sense, people would just pass the disc around so everyone can play. But if they made a standalone disc drive like Sony did, and let you connect it to your computer to do the authorization….

I don't feel like pulling my Series X out of the box, and frankly I much prefer to play on PC, partly because of graphics of course, but I also like to use experience multipliers. I have a family and a huge backlog of games. So anyway I can use to save a little time grinding I use. Hopefully this means the PC version will finally go on sale soon. But we have seen at least one other console sale I think with no pc sale.

If anything hopefully the idea of going to Gamepass is correct.

I feel like it was necessary for them to split up the party. With Kiryu joining the party, of course everyone will want him in their party. For me Kasuga and Kiryu are staple characters. With only two slots left, you won't even bat an eye at some of the other characters had they not split the party up.

I don't understand how having different jobs is disappointing? It makes the combat more engaging and enjoyable. Kiryu literally only has fist attacks and if you don't change jobs and give him other skills to cover his weaknesses, he's practically useless. Ichiban literally just has blunt weapon attacks. Switch jobs and give him ranged and magic attacks and he's a monster.

A lot of people don't like Saeko for some reason but she's a great healer and support character. I personally like Seonhee in my party. Switched her job to idol so she can pick up healing and support moves and I don't have to worry about my party dying.

Adachi as an enforcer is also pretty horrible. Switched him to Samurai and he's so much more viable.

So yeah, don't understand how having different jobs with different fighting styles is a bad thing. But to each their own.

Judgement is the weakest series in the Yakuza world.
