If I'm not mistaken, Mr. Cool have pre-charged lines as well pre-charged compressor so there is no vacuuming required. All other units, including this Pioneer, have to have their lines vacuumed, preferably after nitrogen purging. Totally possible as a DIY project but Mr. Cool is definitely easier.

Mine is in a 3 car 920sqft garage and can cool it 15 degrees in 30 minutes or so.

24000 btu is great for < 1000 sqft. I was hoping this to be split into 2-3 head unit for 2-3 bedrooms.

I'm eyeing a ducted mini split for this purpose. It seemed more slick than having 6 heads in the house, but I don't understand enough about these just yet to know what I'm getting into
