Thanks. Great price on nice wrenches, but for me, skipping the 16mm and 18mm is a problem too big to overlook.

Again, you have never WORKED on a car then
Changing oil and rotating tires do not count.
I can assure you that 16 and 18mm are crucial to any real car work.
Start pulling transmissions, motors, driveshafts, suspensions and you will quickly understand their value.

Yep I've used 18 over and over doing suspension, brakes etc on both foreign and domestic

If a vehicle was built with the old German DIN or Japanese JIS standards, it probably won't have 16mm or 18mm fasteners. But many are built, and have been for a while, to the current ANSI/ISO standard that use quite a bit of both.

They like to skip sizes then you have nut and bolt and are missing the wrench you need

Poor Chinese quality under the Craftsman name. Better off getting anything else at the same price.

I will say these deff do not feel the same quality as my old Craftsman ratcheting wrenches I bought probably close to 20 years ago.
The are certainly thinner. I don't think these are going to hold as much tq as the old ones, but for $29, I can't complain.
I already found a use for them within the first day of having them

Lowe's is such a joke. I ordered this online, said 6 in stock, drove an hour to pick it up and as I'm walking in the store it says sorry out of stock. So I just wasted at a minimum this half the day screwing with Lowe's. Idiots. Lowe's doesn't care, but from now on I'll do everything humanly possible to avoid doing business at Lowe's. Screw them.

I have a similar set, and rarely use them.

Because the box isn't set at an angle, they're really limited in the number of situations where they can be used, and the box end is "bulky" (so just doesn't fit in a lot of places)

These seem to have a little bend at the box end, but still a bit boxy. For me, I'll stick to a normal box or set of offset wrenches.

YMMV of course.
The box is at an angle since these are reversing. "ADDITIONAL KNUCKLE CLEARANCE: 15 Degree Offset"
These are rumored to be made by FACOM, who makes the nearly Identical MAC version. All are under the Stanley Black and Decker family.I would have bought another SAE set if they were available.

Most of my early car wrenching was on Japanese cars and I was blissfully happy thinking all you needed was a 10, 12, 14 and 17. Nothing else in the world.

Then you get a European car and you have to add 13mm and a bunch of torx sizes. Then you work on a more recent Chrysler and you need every damn thing because you have a mix of DIN (MB/Bosch) and ANSI (MOPAR) parts. You end up needing every dang socket in the metric set! It's not the end of the world but it is a pain.

BTW, while most sets leave out 15mm (it's not on the chart), it's a super common size if you are dealing with bikes. The typical axle nuts (for bolt on wheels) and pedal flats are 15mm.
