I wore these 5 days a week to an office job, and they were toast after a month

Buyer Beware:
These shoes are made from synthetic cheap materials. I saw a similar model, same brand in store the other day. They are cheap.
Good to wear for a specific event and maybe a couple of times after that, but not ready to be your daily wear shoes to the office.
Very hard to find quality shoes at reasonable prices nowadays.

No sense buying cheap shoes. Go to Nordstrom Rack and look for the clearance section. There are seasonal discounts also, like half off clearance. You can get a decent quality dress shoes for about $50 consistently. Of course $50 > $16, but shoes can be a good investment because they can last a long time and the fashion doesn't touch them as much as other items. (as long as you don't try to get the latest fashion... don't ever touch the square toe shoes) Most quality shoes allow for resoling and other repairs/maintenance but if you've only spend $50, by the time it falls apart, you got your money back and more and unless you happened to score an extraordinary deal on a great brand that you happen to love a lot, I wouldn't bother going to a cobbler.

Good price for those who wear dress shoes once in a while. These are not leather, but they are only 16 bucks.

These are basically disposable shoes. But for $16, might be good for someone that never wears dress shoes and just needs a cheap pair to go out for a couple hours.

I had an identical looking pair of brown alfanis that lasted several years since I rotated them with a few other pairs of shoes.

The color always looked good but the fake leather started to smell after awhile.
Worth for the price.

About 10 years ago I bought 3 pairs of Allen Edmonds. It was pricey, but I will probably never have to replace them, especially since I wear them maybe 1/3 of the year. Every 3-4 years I take them in for a shine (and do it myself in between) and replace the soles as needed. I do own a pair of another brand (forget which one) that is probably similar to this, but I wear those maybe 2-3 times a year. They match one of my suits, and I only wear a suit 10-15 times a year.

Same here. Got 4/5 pairs of AE when they ran a lot of sales 6-7 years ago.

All of mine are still in great condition. Granted I only wear each pair a few times a year.

These shoes will fall apart if you wear it daily.

Very tempting, but I'll travel to Colombia in 2 months and I can get quality leather shoes there on clearance for $20, so this is a pass for me.

Perfect pair for anyone that wears sneakers to work. Keeps them tucked away in your desk for the change-up.
