Not sure, but total for eBay deal after tax is $1939.72 but with shop samsung app it is $1919.25 somehow. Additionally you'll get BestBuy gift card of $100 value, if you pick your order from BestBuy store rather than shipping it your home.

With the EDU account, you will get a discount, and the price is the same as what it is mentioned even today. I myself ordered one.

So basically with edu account you see the price as $1979 and if you buying via app first time you get $50 extra. After this i have asked support person for any discount and he gave me 2 options. 1st is to take 2 years extended warranty and 2nd one is to take 10%discount. He created checkout cart and provided me the link to use and order. In that cart you see the promo code which is reducing further the amount.

So after that including tax it was $1915 dollars with some cents.

Got one and was even able to stack the $50 off $1000 coupon with the 10% promo code that the support rep gave me. Along with $50 off for trading in an old TV, total before tax came out to $1691.49.

Pulled the trigger. Ask support for a code that works on the edu website and it stacks with the 50 off first app purchase. 1730, can be $50 lower if you trade in too.

Well, it worked for me. I'm staring at it in my cart right now for $1,781.99. Just trying to decide on whether I want to pull the trigger.
